Wow, whats with all the comments? Is that supposed to happen ?
Ok fine... I'm only pretending to be a blog newbie
(or n00b for the edumacated nerds that maybe reading this ;).
Anyway... I guess I'll write some stuff that is worth reading.
Some interesting things that happened/evented at work yesterday:
After being dubbed a "Public Transport Whore" I feel it is now my duty to bitch about the
public transport system in Australia at least every so often
(this ratio will invariably rise due to the major suckage of Public Transport).
So... lets bitch. CityRail (or ShittyRail, choose your pronuciation of city carefully :P),
has got to be one of the worst train systems I have ever encountered. Ever.
Their trains are late, probably about 80% of the time. Which wouldn't be so bad if I didn't
have anywhere important to go, but when I have get to work, or more importantly Home,
I would like to get there in some reasonable amount of time.
And what the fuck happened to my train on wednesday ... the first four carriages arrived... only to be followed by an announcement that
"the other four carriages adjoining this train will be 15 minutes late".
Ofcourse 15 minutes became 20 minutes, and they had to shunt the fucker before leaving (another 5 minutes). WTF!!!
At least my housemates are nice. After telling my girlfriend I'd have to catch the late bus
due to ShittyRail fuck-up-age, who then told my housemate, who then came and picked me up.
Thanks J.B. you're a champ.
More bitching to come... perhaps about... buses... or other annoying things.
Ah... I feel much better now that I've said the above. Now all that is left... is, err... nothing
I think is worth reading (unless of course everyone wants to be hopelessly bored, please comment and let me know).
*waves*

Some interesting things that happened/evented at work yesterday:
- I learned that Napoleon was the inventor of the tin can (though I haven't verified this, but I have been told it is so).
- Apparently it takes 4 (four!!!) technicians to mount an ashtray on the side of a building.

Well, sounds like the UK and Australia aren't much different...
The only reason I seem to be able to get to work on time, is because I catch an early train.
Also, the only reason I can (mostly) make my bus back home is because the train gets there 15 minutes before my bus does... now I am ofcourse lucky that the bus drivers mostly wait, however when the train is late, e.g more than 20 mins. There isn't much choice to be had.
Ah well... public transport sucks now, and probably will for a long time coming.
